Primephonic is a digital music start-up that has been dubbed by the media as ‘the Spotify of classical music’. With the best 100% classical music streaming service we are reinventing the digital classical music experience and reigniting a global passion for the genre.

Classical music lovers are currently heavily underserved in the digital space. We are changing this by offering the world’s most extensive classical music catalogue, the highest audio quality and the best search in the industry. At the same time, we pay out classical artists in a fair way.

Primephonic launched its streaming service (Android, iOS and web) in the United States, United Kingdom and The Netherlands in the Fall 2018. Our global expansion is planned for 2019.

Based in Amsterdam, with a commercial office in New York City, our rapidly growing team is home to over 20 passionate professionals of ten different nationalities.

 

The role

We have a huge opportunity to surprise our prospects and paying customers with personalized content via email and push notifications. For example, based on in app behavior we can share personalized recommendations, inspire with new albums and provide insights in someone’s own listening behavior.

It is your main responsibility to set up, analyze and optimize all the CRM marketing campaigns. Your business objectives are to drive conversion amongst prospects and fuel the customer lifetime value and drive revenue growth. Your initial focus will be to build campaigns for the UK, US and NL. When we expand to other countries in the course of 2019, you will also lead the CRM strategy and implementation for these territories. You will work closely with the rest of the marketing team, existing of a social media marketeer, a visual designer, a performance marketeer, partnerships managers in the UK, NL and US, and the curation team.

Requirements

Our Preferred Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar field
  • 2-4 years of CRM marketing experience for a B2C company
  • Detailed experience with setting up advanced email and lifecycle campaigns in Hubspot, Selligent or a similar CRM tooling. Experience with push notifications is a plus
  • Analytical, results driven and structured
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Excel and CRO. HTML skills is a plus
  • Strong copy writing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English
  • Knowledge of classical music would be nice
